Supple Earth - Mondays 9-10:30 am pacific
Start the week with movement! We gather together from all over the map.
This class offers a time to slow down and sense into the wisdom of you own body in relation with Earth and Sky. We will play with gentle curious scores for exploration, in solitudes and in relation with one another, listening in for what is real and true in the moment and giving form to that flow.
Stretch out into the tides of breath, the play of rise and fall, expansion and release. Find your own edge and play that with your breath and your bones. This class offers a time to connect to your own creative wellspring, a place that exists within all living beings….

Rest - Thursdays 9-10 am pacific
In this repeating 3-week committed series, we explore a wide range of ways of resting through somatic movement practices and embodied arts in relation with Eairth.
Come land into your bones, into gravity and the support of Earth. Come land into your exhalation and subtle movements through your joints. Drink the sky, feel the movement of breath through your body in all directions, exhale and ripple the space around you with your breath. Roll upon the floor and pour your body weight into Earth.
Land into community and the nourishment of ripples of call and response.
Rest into sound and silence….
Are these dance classes?
These are opportunities to rest into somatic practices and movement inquiries. We will be moving and resting, playing together and listening together, creating and emptying out, enjoying the beauty of music, of gesture, movement phrases, call and response….
I’m shy and groups feel edgy for me…
Then this is a great fit for you. These programs offer a gentle way to weave into group experiences; there is structure for exploring somatic inquiries, and also spacious time to play/explore in solitude within the group. These groups offer Relational Ecology practices that help us feel safer in the moment, in our bodies, and safer in human community.
Lineages that these practices arise from?
Katrina has been developing Body As Earth Song and Relational Ecology methods over the past 26 years of somatic movement psychotherapy practice, and through deep experience in somatic dance movement contexts for 48 years.
In addition to being a somatic psychotherapist, Katrina is a Certified Soul Motion Contemplative Dance Movement Teacher and a Registered Yoga Teacher, trained also in Authentic Movement, Dance Movement Therapy and Movement Based Expressive Arts, Improvisation, Creative Group Facilitation, and Play Therapy. She is currently engaged in a Feldenkrais Professional Training Program.
I have physical injuries or pain; are these classes accessible?
Yes! You are welcome to come to these classes with the reality of your embodied experience. All inquiries are optional and all inquiries are infinitely adaptable - variations and possibilities will be offered all along the way, so anyone can weave in and practice here.
Are these for teens or adults
